Can we do integration between moodle and ilias? Not only implement single sign on but also share same content maybe, more exactly display moodle content in ilias?

Can you explain a bit about the scenario(s) you've got in mind there?

Admittedly right now I cannot for the life of me imagine why I'd want to have M**dle content in ILIAS since the latter is plenty capable and even has the benefit of beeing SCORM2004 reference platform. So why not use ILIAS exclusively in the first place? ;-)

But seriously, though, all inter-LMS bickering aside you might want to take a look at the E-Learning-Community Server (ECS), especially the extensions that are in developement for ILIAS 4.3.

Within the realm of the CampusConnect project an ECS connector for Moodle is also in developement, albeit not as a core feature and with a more limited functionality; given the necessary funding it might be extented in the future, though.

We have requested by one of university in my country to integrate between their moodle lms (old version 1.9) which more focus on language learning and they want to deploy another LMS which is will serve more courses and not only focus on specific thing. They didn't mention about the new LMS that they want to deploy whether want to use latest version of moodle or other (ilias). But in my oppinion its good to implement ilias latest version for their solution. But, in terms of integration (beside SSO) I am still not sure how this handle by ilias and moodle.

They still want the old system to be live. Even, the user database must be in that old m**le system. Beside the current database of content which must be accessible from the new lms system. Actually we can just put a hyperlink on new lms (ilias) to link to m**le content and because we have SSO, so it will open the m**le page without need to re-login. But I am afraid that they will ask about more deeper integration such as: can we port m**le repository to ilias repository automatically. So we can display any m**le content there, without need to create the hyperlink and etc.

Any idea or solution for my case?

In simple way, can we do this:

• After we activated SSO between ilias and moodle. Then we use permanent link from specific page in moodle to be displayed in ilias using iframe? If this possible, I think it should be enough for my project, even I need to create that iframe one by one (manually).
