    Problems with Google Chrome Browser

    Hello,

We've recently observed some user interface issues when people are using Chrome or Safari.  Users accessing our Ilias system using these browsers have encountered one of the following problems:

    1. following a quiz, the user gets a very strange message stating that all the questions were "failed" (even though they weren't) and that the user needed a score of 301% to pass the quiz. See screen capture attached.

    2.  After completing a course, the user's status in Ilias is designated as "not started."

Again, these issues are only occurring when users access the courses via Chrome and Safari.  There have been no such problems with Internet Explorer, and several users successfully completed the courses using IE.

This seems to be a compatibility issue?  Any solutions?

Re: Problems with Google Chrome Browser

    Hello Erik,

Quizzes should show always the same (and reasonable) results - no matter which browser is used. We are testing ILIAS with different browsers and OS. But nevertheless errors might occor anyway.

Please report this issue to our Mantis bugtracker at www.ilias.de/mantis, and add the screenshot too as this gives additional information. We hope so solve the problem as soon as possible.

    Best regards,

    Matthias
