Retake Test

1 Description

After an exam it would be very helpful if the test could be repeated by selected users once again. If a student failed an exam and a retake is necessary you can only copy the original test and invite fixed participants in order to avoid the overwriting of the saved results. It would be nice if the test settings would allow to invite some persons for a second try. In this case all tests results should be saved (not only the last or the best pass).

4 Discussion

We're quite interested in this feature and, depending on the ammount of course ;) ) willing to add some funding.
In addition it would be great to add that the test can only be started again after a certain time e.g. 3 Month like descibed in Topic 2d of http://www.ilias.de/docu/goto_docu_wiki_1357_CME-Points.html
Maybe instead of "User" in the learning process every instance (test-start) will be shown because it can be sorted for names anyway.

IMHO this is not something "nice to have" but it should be implemented by default.
Anyway, how to add this request? I added it to the jourfix agenda but was deleted without any further comment.

This is also quite interesting for us.
Furthermore it would be necessary to say "the user cannot repeat the test immediately but after e.g. 3 Month".
But at least it would be AWESOME to invite the user (manually) for a secondy try, the test result will be added but not overwritten.
IMHO this is a MUST feature.
How long/much would it take/cost? Estimated?
