    URLs in public profile are not "clickable"?

    Hi all,

    we added some fields so that students can add the link to their facebook/xing/google+ page in their profile. Unfortunately these URLs are not "clickable" - which is kind of not so cool.

    Please see enclosed screenshot.

    Is there anything an adminstrator can do about this? Or is it a bug / a new feature?

    Hello Frank,

    It is not that easy to decide - this is why I have put it on the next Jour Fixe agenda on Wednesday. The reason is that ILIAS does not transform a text link into a hyperlink. Either it has to be formatted as link (like in the ILIAS page editor). Or a specific kind of input field is offered to make links clickable.

    But I see several pros for such an extension of ILIAS.
