I am quite sure I must have overlooked the information somewhere but I have been searching for several hours now and just feel dumb because I still miss it.

So my question is: how to 'install' plugins (like the gallery from http://www.iliasnet.de/)? there is no 'add' button in the adminstration panel and I simply can't seem to find a suitable directory to upload them?

Sorry for asking but I'm stumped.

Installing PlugIns ist not that easy. Fist you have to copy the plugin files to a directory specified in the readme file of the plugin (somewhere in customization/global/plugin).

After that you have to login to ilias and switch to administration / "modules, services and plugins" and activate it there.

Wir wollen das neue UserInterface PlugIn ausprobieren und einsetzen.

Herr Killing hat mitgeteilt, dass man das PlugIn per SVN herunterladen kann.

Da wir aufgrund von Anpassungsprogrammierungen nicht mehr aus dem SVN updaten können, habe ich mir alle Dateien heruntergeladen und die passende Ordnerstruktur angelegt:

Die 'plugin.php' befindet sich im Ordner 'LfMainMenu'.

Wenn ich nun in der Administration von ILIAS unter 'PlugIns, Module, Dienste' gehe, finde ich dort keine Möglichkeit, das PlugIn zu aktivieren. Im Register 'Plugins' findet sich kein Eintrag.

Im Register 'Dienste' ist das PlugIn jedoch aufgeführt:

Was mache ich falsch? Oder funktioniert der manuelle Einbau so nicht?

Hallo,

ich habe das Plugin auch installiert und es funktioniert.

Der Tipp ist die Ordnerstruktur zu überprüfen:

Customizing/global/plugins/Services/UIComponent/UserInterfaceHook/.

Unter dem Ordner plugins fehlt noch /Services/UIComponent.

Dann das Plugin 'Administrieren', 'Aktualisieren', 'Aktivieren', Konfigurieren' und die Sprachen neu laden.

Nach Korrektur finde ich das PlugIn jetzt und kann es administrieren.
