Hello!!

I am using the Ilias authoring tool and I'd like to know how to control if the movie on a page of a learning module starts automatically. I insert the movie by selecting "Insert Media Object" but there seems to be no property to adjust this.

Thanks!
Constantin

The parameters that can be used depend on the type of the media object.

For a QuickTime movie, you can enter the following text into the "Parameters" field of the media object:

autoplay="false"

This works with AVI movies as well. But for Real movies, other parameters may be needed.

Here is a list of all supported parameters for QuickTime movies:

With best regards,
Werner
