 Post subject: IE window remains after closing SCORM 1.2 course

I have a SCORM 1.2 course which opens in a new window. When I close the window, the window disapears but the button in the windows taskbar still remains. The main window is usually still responding but very slow. When closing the non visible window with the context menu on the button in the taskbar, the whole browser and all windows close.

This happens with IE 6, win XP. Firefox works fine. The same course in SCORM 2004 works fine as well.

Did someone had a similar problem? What could be the cause?
