Is it possible to change an installed (and in use) lesson module uploaded as SCORM 1.2 to SCORM 2004 without reuploading the lesson (and losing the tracking)?

Or is there a relatively easy way to transfer the tracking data to reuploaded lessons as SCORM 2004?
