Today most of us have more than one email adress (personal, business) and we need to be informed and work with all of them. Most of our students are busy during worktime and need to work from home or elsewhere and have not the webmail ability for security reasons.
For security reasons we accept only official business mail adresses for beeing activated in ILIAS.

Is it possible in ILAIS to have a second email adress within the registration, that has equal status than the first one?
Means, if a mail will be sent, it goes to both email adresses when forwarding is activated.

Cheers

Jörg

I think it is a good idea to have the implement a second E-Mail adress. But then, there must be a greater update. Students (and other member) should have the possibility to choose, if

- E-Mails should go to first or second Mailadress
- Notification of Forum-messages go to 1st or 2nd mail
- Calendar ReminderMessages (?) go to 1st or 2nd mail
- ...
