At our school we often have to open courses long before some users know even about ILIAS (external students). So they get automatically a system-message when we add the user’s names to the course and don’t know what they shall do with it. (You surely can imagine the following e-mail-scenarios? ;-)

Our feature-request now:
It should be possible to disable the system message-function in courses, if technically possible.
