Where we are working we need to provide scorm capability to some of our clients for some courses. They are very picky, and want to see the ilias engine running the adl conformance test, without any errors. But when we run the test, it encounters numerous fatal errors including:

'expected "ab-initio" but returned "resume"'
'returned error code incorrect'
pages not loading in the proper order

We contacted adl, and they said that ilias used the older conformance test suite (1.01) but that it might not work with the latest one 1.02. We don't have a copy of 1.01 to test this.

Is ilias still Scorm 2004 compliant or is it somehow broken?

Hi,

ILIAS is certified for SCORM 2004 3rd Edition. It has been tested in December 2007 using the 1.01 testsuite (that was the most recent at that time).
You can look that up on the ADL website:

The SCORM RTE Core has not been changed since December 2007 in a way that it would should SCORM compliance.
If you encounter errors using the 1.02 testsuite, please report those issues in the Mantis Bug Tracker and we will investigate them further.

We acquired a copy of conformance suite 1.01, and used it to test our ilias installation. It has returned identical errors as scorm conformance suite 1.02. Our server is php/apache/mysql on windows (wamp), and we have been using both IE and FF (latest versions), as well as java 1.4 but to no avail. In Opera, the CT doesn't even load. I was wondering if there was anything wrong with our setup that could be causing the errors outlined above.

What server did you use, and is there anyone on here who has/will tested their installation of ilias who could describe their setup, perhaps it's an operating system/server issue.
